7dbcc316a6 usb/xhci: avoid noisy 'Register NbrPorts' message
We should avoid overwhelming users with non-essential messages.

'Register NbrPorts' is a debug message for EHCI. Do the same for XHCI.

08bf42e1fa Merge tag 'qcom-for-2026.01-rc2' of https://source.denx.de/u-boot/custodians/u-boot-snapdragon
A variety of Qualcomm features/fixes for this cycle, notably with a few
new platforms gaining support:

* Initial support for SDM670 (similar to SDM845), SM6350, and SM7150
  platforms is added
* USB and UART issues on MSM8916 are addressed (improving stability/
  reliability)
* Firmware loading is implemented for the GENI serial engine, this is
used on some platforms to load firmware for i2c/spi/uart to work

Some additional patches like binman support for building MBN files still
need some additional work.

ed733d40ec usb: host: ehci-msm: Register ULPI PHY through NOP wrapper
The UCLASS_USB device is removed and rebound each time you run "usb stop"
followed by "usb start", or when you switch between USB device and USB host
mode. Unfortunately, this causes issues with the current ehci-msm driver:

In ehci_usb_remove() we call generic_shutdown_phy(), but at that point the
ULPI PHY we registered in ehci_usb_of_bind() was already removed again by
the DM core.

Fix this by adding a UCLASS_NOP driver that keeps the PHY driver bound
permanently, and then just re-probe the actual USB part.

445aad45f4 usb: ehci-mx6: Add i.MX95 OTG support
When the usb node is defined dr_mode="otg" ehci_usb_phy_mode() is called
to determine the mode from status registers.

The IMX95RM does not currently define the USBNC STATUS register but it is
assumed to be an omission as the first three registers are defined.
It has been expirimentally verified that the USBNC_PHY_STATUS register
at offset 0x23C bit4 (USBNC_PHYSTATUS_ID_DIG) reads 0 when USB_ID is GND
and 1 when floating.

Use is_imx9() as this driver works for i.MX91, i.MX93 and i.MX95 and all
of these determine the role based on the USBNC_PHY_STATUS register.

94a1f8fe47 usb: dwc2: Fix incorrect ULPI_UTMI_SEL bit setting

831a38483c usb: ulpi: Clean up how we enable support
The way we enable ULPI support today isn't something that should work.
The "optional" keyword in a choice statement is not a documented
feature. To make this work in a supported way, make USB_ULPI something
we ask about if USB_HOST is set. Next, we move the choice of what
viewer to use to be after the framework portion and to depend on that.
We then borrow a few words from the top-level README to make the help
text here clearer. Finally we make the Qualcomm driver select ULPI as
it's required and we make the tegra driver not duplicate a check that
Kconfig now handles for us.

2800aecce0 Merge patch series "Implement ACPI on aarch64"
Patrick Rudolph <patrick.rudolph@9elements.com> says:

Based on the existing work done by Simon Glass this series adds
support for booting aarch64 devices using ACPI only.
As first target QEMU SBSA support is added, which relies on ACPI
only to boot an OS. As secondary target the Raspberry Pi4 was used,
which is broadly available and allows easy testing of the proposed
solution.

The series is split into ACPI cleanups and code movements, adding
Arm specific ACPI tables and finally SoC and mainboard related
changes to boot a Linux on the QEMU SBSA and RPi4. Currently only the
mandatory ACPI tables are supported, allowing to boot into Linux
without errors.

The QEMU SBSA support is feature complete and provides the same
functionality as the EDK2 implementation.

The changes were tested on real hardware as well on QEMU v9.0:

qemu-system-aarch64 -machine sbsa-ref -nographic -cpu cortex-a57 \
                    -pflash secure-world.rom \
                    -pflash unsecure-world.rom

qemu-system-aarch64 -machine raspi4b -kernel u-boot.bin -cpu cortex-a72 \
-smp 4 -m 2G -drive file=raspbian.img,format=raw,index=0 \
-dtb bcm2711-rpi-4-b.dtb -nographic

Tested against FWTS V24.03.00.

Known issues:
- The QEMU rpi4 support is currently limited as it doesn't emulate PCI,
  USB or ethernet devices!
- The SMP bringup doesn't work on RPi4, but works in QEMU (Possibly
  cache related).
- PCI on RPI4 isn't working on real hardware since the pcie_brcmstb
Linux kernel module doesn't support ACPI yet.

Extend generic_setup_phy() parameter list with PHY mode and submode and

Update all call sites of generic_setup_phy() as well, all of which are
USB host related, except for DM test which now behaves as a USB host
test.

Note that if the PHY driver does not implement the .set_mode callback,
generic_phy_set_mode() call returns 0 and does not error out, so this
should not break any existing systems.

Just like drivers/usb/host/ehci-mx6.c, add a default for
drivers/usb/host/ehci-mx5.c.

The motivation for doing this is to remove CFG_MXC_USB_PORTSC
from board config files.

All the mx5 boards, with the exeption of mx51evk, define
CFG_MXC_USB_PORTSC as:

 #define CFG_MXC_USB_PORTSC	(PORT_PTS_UTMI | PORT_PTS_PTW)

So move this definition as a default into ehci-mx5.c.
