# Setting up external-dns for BlueCat
|
|
|
|
## Prerequisites
|
|
Install the BlueCat Gateway product and deploy the [community gateway workflows](https://github.com/bluecatlabs/gateway-workflows).
|
|
|
|
## Deploy
|
|
Setup configuration file as k8s `Secret`.
|
|
