Upstream has requested that Alpine revert this functionality. Until there is consensus in how to solve the unwinding issue (.eh_frame vs .debug_frame), we will revert this change. Please discuss the change on the musl mailing list, and refrain from adjusting this package until consensus is reached there. The overwhelming majority of Alpine users and developers I have asked to provide input on this issue prefer that we do not go against what musl upstream wants.
